The last date for registration has passed.

This session is only for campers going INTO 10th, 11th & 12th grade in the Fall of 2021.

This is a two- week session! Campers WILL be staying at camp over the weekend.
Check-in is on Sunday the 11th between 2-4pm. Checkout is on Friday the 23rd between 1-2pm.

This is the third step of the Outdoor Leadership Program (previously CIT) at Camp E-Ko-Wah. Campers are required to have taken BOTH Outdoor Leadership Intro and Outdoor Leadership Styles prior to registering for this session. Girls who have taken CIT I in the last 3 years (summer 2017 at the earliest) may skip the first two steps and register for this session.

This session is a 13-day/12-night program. This is for campers who have a strong desire to work with children and want to continue developing leadership habits and skills. This session will review leadership basics and styles, and will focus heavily on skill-building. This session will provide the chance to plan and help facilitate many skill building activities for younger campers. Participates will practice and improve many outdoor skills, and will have the chance to shadow a staff member. Girls will work on some of the requirements for the CIT I and 2 pins, but will NOT complete all the requirements.

As a leadership camp, the focus is not on participating in traditional camp activities like swimming, archery, hiking, but rather on developing leadership qualities and skills. Campers will have some opportunities for these activities, but most of the schedule will structure around leadership discussions, skill practice sessions, work with campers, and building personal and group leadership skills.

Throughout this session, campers will work towards becoming proficient in many skills. By the end of this session, an assessment of those skills will help determine if campers would benefit from attending this session again the following year, or if the participant should take the next step in the Outdoor Leader Program and apply as an Intern the following year.

Horse experiences are not part of this camp unless purchased on a promotion from GSWESTOK.
This camp will not run if less than 4 campers register. If this camp gets cancelled, it will not be replaced.
