This session is ONLY for adult volunteers - 18 years and older. Adults must be currently registered with Girl Scouts, and have an approved background check to attend.
Check-in begins on Friday, July 30th at 6pm. The event officially ends on Sunday, August 1st at 11am.
Traditional camping, but without the kids! This weekend is for the adults to kick back and enjoy the great outdoors in a relaxed setting. Bring a hammock and a book, spend all day at the pool/lake, or enjoy various workshops we will have going on this weekend! Treat this weekend as a retreat with other Girl Scout friends, or use it as a chance to sharpen some of your skills, or both!
We will have staff stationed at various activity areas to facilitate activities at set times. This event has a high capacity - depending on attendance, wait times may vary at activity areas. We may opt to use signups at check-in to help predict the flow of specific activity areas.
Housing selecting for this weekend is first come, first serve at check-in. Buddy/family/troop requests will not be accepted through registration. If you have a housing request based on physical needs or proximity to certain amenities, please reach out to council via info@gswestok.org to get in touch with the Camp Director. Male participants must be housed seperately. Tent camping is available but you must provide your own tents.
WiFi on site is not available to participants, and the only cell provider that is reliable (4G) at Camp E-Ko-Wah is AT&T. There are landlines located around camp should an emergency come up in which participants need to contact someone outside of camp.
If you have dietary restrictions, please note that we can only accommodate certain needs. We are able to provide vegetarian, gluten free OR nut free options. If you have a combination of these needs, or dietary needs beyond those listed, please plan on bringing some food substitutes/snacks. Any food that is brought as a substitute must be checked into the kitchen or left in vehicles - food should not wander about through the buildings on camp.
