Geekapalooza brings families together to experience the fun of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM). This year’s event is hosted in partnership by MetroFamily Magazine and Girl Scouts Western Oklahoma at the state-of-the-art urban camp, Camp Trivera, 2508 NE 50th St, Oklahoma City. Geekapalooza encourages kids (ages 4-14) to learn about STEAM topics through interactive booths and workshops hosted by local organizations around subjects such as the science of flight, coding and geoscience. There will be robotics demonstrations, food trucks and hands-on fun everywhere.

Families will be encouraged to visit booths and workshops through a “scavenger hunt/code word" contest and be entered to win a prize for participating.

Advanced admission is $8 per child and $5 per adult. Tickets will also be sold at the door for a higher price.

Join us at Geekapalooza and help increase interest in Oklahoma’s STEAM-related careers and industries by educating and engaging families through fun, hands-on experiences!

Cancellation Policy
GSWEST EVENT REFUND POLICY: (Includes HAT, Outdoor Committee, and Alumni Events) Should circumstances arise that result in the cancellation or postponement of an event, GSWESTOK has the right to either issue a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date. Registration Cancellation by Participant Unless specifically stated on registration materials, the deadline to receive a refund for your registration is 2 weeks before the event. Cancellations will be accepted in writing only and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline. Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund. A Doctors note will be required for any refunds after the cancellation deadline. Camp deposits are non-refundable. All camp refunds must be approved by the Camp Director. Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event. All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder. All refunds will be made by the same method of payment (rewards card, credit card, check, gift card). Cash will be refunded via check. Refund requests must include the name of the attendee and/or receipt. These above policies apply to all GSWESTOK Events unless otherwise noted in the corresponding event materials. Please read all individual event information thoroughly.
